INSPIRED BY DIFFERENCE.

My personal mission statement and passion is to work for and on human development. I draw my inspiration from Nelson Mandela, who believed that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’ There is no better investment in the world, I believe, than to invest in human capital and my entire life is a testimony to this conviction. The work that I do is based on three fundamental assumptions which keeps me moving.

1. That Pakistan’s education system – the way we learn and educate – needs major transformation and overhauling.
2. That change and transformation in Pakistan’s education arena is possible.
3. That I, as an individual and with the power of collaboration, can play a major role as a change agent.

01. Ingenium Business Solutions – Co-founder, Director and Consultant.

Ingenium is a corporate training organisation which specialists in simulation-based trainings in Ethical Culture, Leadership, Strategy, Internal Audit, Finance, and Business Acumen. Ingenium contributes 20pc of its annual profits to EDLAB Pakistan, a not-for-profit organisation.

02. EDLAB Pakistan – Co-founder, Director and Consultant.

EDLAB Pakistan is a teacher training and consulting organisation. Amongst other things, it specializes in providing academic consulting services for schools with special focus on inculcating critical thinking in classrooms.

03. The School of Business Education (TSB) – Co-founder and Chief Design Officer.

TSB is an edtech initiative that is committed to provide premium quality courses to accountancy students online. It uses interactive learning space to create blended learning experience for CA, ACCA, and ICMA students. Presently, the platform is serving students all over in Pakistan & abroad.

04. Redwood Global Services (RGS) – Co-founder and Non-executive Director.

RGS is a business functions outsourcing firm operating in Canada and Pakistan. It specializes in accounting, finance, payroll, internal audit, and compliance functions outsourcing services along with consulting for Business Process Re-engineering services.

01. Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Member Southern Regional Committee

ICAP is a premium accounting regulating body in Pakistan. In 2017, I was elected as a member of Southern Regional Committee (SRC) of ICAP for a termof 4 years. SRC works for CA members and students’ Continued Professional Development by organizing professional development activities for membership.

02. Fatmiyah Education Network (FEN), Board member

I serve as a Board member of FEN for the tenure 2018 – 2020 and was appointed to primarily bring transformation in the area of teacher education. Under FEN, several schools and colleges are operating i.e. Fatmiyah Montessori System, Fatmiyah Boys School, Fatmiyah Girls School, Fatmiyah College, and Fatmiyah Institute of Education Services (offering Associate Diploma and M. Ed programs).

03. KnS Institute of Business Studies (KnS) – senior teacher for CA Final studies.

KnS is a top quality institute for business education specializing in ACCA, CA, ICMA, B.COM, CFA, and Intermediate Commerce. At KnS, I work as a senior teacher for CA final studies since 2012.

As a person, I truly believe in the power of collaboration and I am undoubtedly blessed with some wonderful friends whom I could partner with and without whom I could not have pursued what I am presently up to.

I am associated with six organisations in different leadership capacities and my work in human development engages all three major segments of society: students, teachers, and corporates.

Being on the board of multiple organsiations, my role is to set out policies and providean oversight but at heart I love to be ‘the man in the arena’.
